Help stop the spread, protect yourself and keep well!

Contact tracing is one of the most powerful tools to stop the spread of COVID-19.


From Monday 23 November 2020, customer check-in at businesses must be completed using electronic methods e.g. through your smartphone camera, using a QR code. 


CNGPS/MGIC display the Service NSW COVID Safe QR code to facilitate contact tracing, while protecting your identity and privacy.


We urge everyone to adhere to New South Wales Health coronavirus health advice, which is the leading source of accurate health advice and alerts in NSW.

The New South Wales Health website also has a wealth of information on protecting yourself and others (including the latest social distancing measures and restrictions), keeping well, mental health support, and much more.

We show our commitment to COVID Safety and keeping our community safe by:

  1. Promoting the CNGPS/MGIC COVID-19 Safety Plan       and being a COVID Safe Business;

  2. being a Service NSW COVID Safe organisation that displays the Service NSW QR code; and

  3. reminding customers to register and scan the QR code with their smartphone camera.

Checking in with the Service NSW QR code

  • When you arrive, hover your phone camera or QR code reader over the Service NSW COVID Safe QR code.

  • The smartphone reads the code and one of two things will happen:

    • you will be asked to download the Service NSW app; or

    • if you already have the app you will be taken to the check in

  • CNGPS/MGIC staff may check the successful sign in on your phone. 

  • When you leave, check out using your phone.
